Archiving
| The Archive
and Optical Catalogs contain spool entries which have been
archived to tape or optical disk. These catalogs can be queried by
users by entering DSPOLE command,. For example users can find all
of their XYZ reports ran in the year 1999. A list of matching
spool entries will be shown.
The query can be stored and used later. A stored query can also specified on the DSPOLE command, allowing an automatic access of desired spool entries (bypassing this screen) from application menus. |
