Archiving
| The
SpoolOrganizer ARCOLE command will write selected spool
from the Online Database to
tape. The archived spool entries can be displayed or
reprinted later. Optionally a record of each archived
spool entry can be written to the Archive
Catalog for future queries. A typical flow of a spool entry would be to place it into the Online Database (easily accessible by users) for 30 days, then archive it to tape. Track it on the tape (still available to users) for 2 years. |
