Move to IFS Directory

The SpoolOrganizer DIROUTQ command writes the spool entries in an outq to ASCII files in an Integrated File System (IFS) directory. Once in the directory other applications and internet users can access them. The files can be saved in the following formats:
  • PDF: Users can view the spool entry using Adobe Acrobat Reader, widely used and available at no charge from Adobe.
  • CSV: Column Separated Values, widely used to import into Spreadsheet and Database software such as Microsoft Excel and Access.
  • Text: Unformatted text.
  • HTML: The entry is saved in HTML format.

An Index file, containing the names of all entries placed into the directory can be created. Moved entries can optionally be deleted.
